Fiberglass Grating (FRP / GRP) is widely used in industrial applications due to its unmatched corrosion resistance and high strength to weight ratio. FRP / GRP gratings are manufactured with continuous fiberglass strands, thoroughly wetted with chemical resistant polyester resin system. All Ferrograte FRP / GRP grating are designed to exhibit minimum of Class 1 flame spread rating in accordance with ASTM E-84. Our production lines include both Molded and Pultruded Type grating panels. Available resin types are Isophthalic Polyester, Vinyl Ester and Phenolic Resin. Various surface finishes are available such as Gritted solid top, Chequered Plate top, Concave meniscus and Embedded Grit.

A. Molded Gratings

Ferrograte Molded Fiberglass Gratings are used for their high strength, corrosion resistance, light weight, long life and safety. All FRP grating is made to meet the highest international standards. Fiberglass grating has many advantages over steel grating, not only for performance but also cost competitiveness. The wide range of gratings available can satisfy general industrial needs or high load requirements like forklift traffic. B. Pultruded Gratings

Fiberglass Grating Pultrusions come in three categories: I-Shape bars, T-Shape bars, and High-Load bars for Heavy-Duty Applications. The bearing bars are interconnected with cross-rods. Panels are mechanically assembled and chemically bonded and assure a high corrosion resistance together with an excellent mechanical strength thanks to the high percentage of glass fibers (roving, continuous multidirectional mat, veil). C. FRP Stair Treads

The Ferro tread safety stair treads are self-supporting with a coloured reinforced front nosing. They are manufactured using self-extinguishing fire-retardant resins. The stair treads have a permanent antiskid surface using integrated quartz silica grains. Standard colours: Green with Yellow front nosing or Grey with Black front nosing.

FRP Step Cover

Hand lay-up composite flat panel manufactured with fiberglass Chopped Strand Mat and Cross Weaving Mat, with an antiskid surface using integrated silica quartz grains. Standard resin: isophthalic fire retardant.
